Participants will be asked to prepare a monologue, showcasing their acting skills and versatility. Additionally, there may be a brief improvisation session to assess spontaneity and comedic timing. Black Comedy – A Show in the Dark
Join us for an unforgettable evening of theatre, laughter, and live entertainment with Black Comedy – A Show in the Dark! This uproarious one-act farce by Peter Shaffer turns the stage upside down—literally. The show begins in complete darkness and then, in a clever twist, when the characters are "in the dark," the stage is lit for the audience—and when the lights "come on" for the characters, we’re plunged into blackness! What unfolds is a chaotic chain of misunderstandings, mistaken identities, and hilarious physical comedy as the cast fumbles their way through a blackout.
But the fun doesn't stop with the play! Your evening will also include featured performances by two incredible local talents. Stand-up comedian Jeremy Lippitt will bring his sharp humor, charm, and observational wit to the stage with a comedy set that’s sure to get the audience rolling. And the night wouldn't be complete without the powerhouse vocals of singer Reilly Kerrigan, whose dynamic performance adds a musical highlight to this already vibrant lineup.
