Meet The Cast

  • Arianna is 9 years old and a 4th grader at Oxbow Elementary School. She is thrilled to be part of this play because she loves theater! This is her very first show, and she’s so excited to be on stage. Arianna would like to thank her mom, dad, and sister for their love and support, as well as Mrs. Johns for giving her the opportunity to audition and be part of this amazing production.

  •  In the Jungle of Nool, you’ll spot her right there,
    As Young Kangaroo hopping with flair!
    She’s also a jungle friend, lively and spry,
    Her very first play—oh me, oh my!
    She’s thrilled to perform with her stage-mom so loud,
    The Sour Kangaroo who sings strong and proud.
    She gives thanks with glee, and says with a grin:
    “To Kennedy, my friend, for helping me win—
    By learning my lines and helping me through,
    This Seussical world feels brighter with you!”

  • Kaylee is 11 years old and in 6th grade. Seussical Jr. will be her 4th performance, following roles in Aladdin Jr., Snow White, and a vocal exposition. She enjoys reading, singing, drawing, and fishing. Kaylee would like to thank her mom and dad for encouraging her to do theater and her sister Taylor for helping her practice and getting her to rehearsals when their parents are busy.

  •  Ariel is 11 years old and excited to be making her debut in Seussical Jr. This is her very first production, and she’s thrilled to be part of the cast. When she is not performing, Ariel enjoys crocheting, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends. She would like to thank her mom for always supporting her in all of her adventures! One of her favorite lines from Seussical Jr. is: “A person’s a person, no matter how small.”

  •  Emmy is so excited to be part of Seussical Jr. this year in the role of a Bird Girl. She is 11 years old and attends Highpoint Hybrid. This is her third musical, and she loves to bring her big smile to the stage. Her previous roles include a Beggar and Ensemble member in Aladdin Jr. and Snore in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Emmy also serves on the drama team at her church, Faith Troy, and has taken vocal and piano lessons. A fun fact about Emmy is that she is a huge Taylor Swift fan and has never met a roller coaster she didn’t want to ride. She would like to thank her parents for their support, her grandparents for helping bring her to rehearsals, her church family for cheering her on, and Mrs. Laura for being such an amazing director.

  • Madison is soaring back onto the stage in Seussical Jr. as a Bird Girl! A fifth-grader at Riverside Elementary, she loves blending singing, dancing, and storytelling—skills she first showcased in a sparkling turn in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Madison is known for her upbeat spirit, quick choreography pickup, and encouraging her castmates between scenes. When she’s not rehearsing, she’s dreaming up the next role—future actress in the making! She sends heartfelt thanks to her family and friends for their unwavering support.

  •  Hannah is super excited to be in Seussical Jr. as a Bird Girl. She is 12 years old and attends White Lake Middle School. Her past shows include Matilda Jr., The Wizard of Oz, and a Broadway Bootcamp at Wayne State, where she also worked with Bethany Calderona. Hannah studies voice with Rachael Rose and also plays piano. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her theater journey.

  • Kennedy is so excited to take on the role of Cat in the Hat! She is 14 years old and attends White Lake Middle School. This is her 5th show. Past roles include Tweedle Dum (Alice in Wonderland), a Dwarf (Snow White), Scarecrow (Wizard of Oz), and Pattie (Hairspray). A fun fact about Kennedy is that she lives on a hobby farm with many animals and is a huge movie buff. She would like to thank her friends and family for their amazing support.

  •  Rei is 13 years old and fell in love with the stage just last year — and hasn’t stopped since! She made her musical debut in Mean Girls, then joined the enchanting world of Snow White with Tread the Boards Theatre. This season, she’s thrilled to take on her most mischievous role yet as the Cat in the Hat! Rei loves the magic of storytelling, singing with flair, and bringing characters to life. When she’s not on stage, you’ll find her being silly, creative, and always ready for her next adventure.

  •  Alice is 5 years old and excited to make her stage debut in Seussical Jr. She has been dancing since she was two and is heading into her fourth year at her local studio. Alice loves being on stage, which inspired her to join this production. When she is not rehearsing, she enjoys playing with her little brother, looking for butterflies, and anything to do with unicorns. She dreams of becoming a veterinarian when she grows up. Alice would like to thank her family for always supporting her.

  •  Raegan is only 6, it’s her very first play,
    She’s thrilled to be singing in Seussical today!
    With feathers and “Whos,” she will laugh, dance, and cheer,
    She’s so very happy the big show is here!
    She thanks her dear mom (with a hug and a kiss),
    For driving to practice—she wouldn’t want to miss!
    So clap, cheer, and smile when Raegan takes flight,
    Her Whoville adventure begins on stage tonight!

  • Rachael is 14 years old and plays Gertrude McFuzz. This is her 7th show, most directed by Mrs. Johns, who has given her so many great opportunities in theater. Her previous shows include Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, The Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, and a vocal exposition. Rachael is also on the gymnastics team for her 5th year and on the swim team for the first time. She would like to thank her parents for encouraging her and driving her to rehearsals.

  •  Charles is in 9th grade at LHS and has been in four plays: Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, The Wizard of Oz, and Hairspray. His roles include the King of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland), a Queen’s Guard (Snow White), Munchkin, Doorman, and Wicked Guard (Wizard of Oz), and Duane (Hairspray). Charles would like to thank his mom for supporting him and Mrs. Johns for helping him start acting.

  • Jessie is so excited to be playing Horton the Elephant in "Suessical Jr."! This is her first show with Tread the Boards. Some of her favorite parts she has played are Jay in "Descendants", and Roger in "Grease" both at Ridgedale Players, Uncle Fester in "Addams Family Young@part", and Leaf Coneybear in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" both at PTIV! She hopes you enjoy the show!

  • Brody is 13 years old and in the 8th grade. He has been a performer since long before he ever stepped foot on a stage, making himself the center of attention by singing, dancing and acting for family.  Brody has been formally performing on stage for more than 4 years now. He has been in The Little Mermaid, Moana,  and Tangled. Also, Brody was the King of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland) and Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz) at White Lake Middle School with Mrs. Johns.  Brody would like to thank his parents and his theatre friends for always being very supportive. 

  •  Natalie is 11 years old and thrilled to play JoJo in Seussical Jr., marking her 2nd show with Tread the Boards and her 9th production overall. Favorite roles include Sarge (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), Gonzorgo (Babes in Toyland), and Young Anna (Frozen Jr.). Outside of theater, Natalie enjoys playing viola and reading. She thanks her family, friends, and the Tread the Boards community for their support and hopes you enjoy the show!

  • Kendall is beyond excited to be in Tread the Boards production of Seussical the Musical! She is also thrilled to be sharing the stage with her brother once again. Some of her favorite appearances in local theater productions to date include The Prince of Egypt (Young Miriam/Leah), The Little Mermaid Jr. (Flounder), Aladdin Jr. (Iago), Shrek Jr. (Young Fiona), and Snow White (Esmerelda). She would like to give a big thank-you to her family, as well as her piano, dance, and voice teachers.

  •  Eleanor is 6 years old, in 1st grade, and full of energy! This is her second musical. Previously, she played a cat and dancer. She’s entering her fourth year of dance and second year of gymnastics, and she loves to draw, create art, play outside, and laugh with her family.

  •  Olivia (9) makes her debut with a splash and a roar,
    A Fish and a Jungle Animal—you couldn’t ask for more!
    She thanks the whole crew for this fun, happy start,
    A first stage adventure that’s close to her heart!

  •  Joelle is 11 years old and thrilled to be part of Seussical Jr. She previously played Gabby in Snow White, a child in Stone Soup, and Josie in A Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. Outside of theater, Joelle enjoys playing volleyball. She would like to thank the theater for making this experience awesome.

  •  Amelia is 7 and brand new, her very first show—oh, what a debut!
    She’s Max with a tail, a Who with a cheer,
    So thankful for family, cast, and crew here.
    With smiles and with giggles, excitement galore,
    Amelia can’t wait to come back for more!

  •  Kinzlee (14) is thrilled to be playing Mayzie! She has appeared in Frozen Jr., The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Hairspray. Offstage, Kinzlee is friendly, funny, and full of energy. She enjoys music, theater, cheer, and spending time with friends and family. She would like to thank her mom for always supporting her theater journey. Kinzlee is excited to share the stage with her amazing castmates—after all, there’s no such thing as “too many feathers!”

  •  Lincoln is 12 years old and a 6th grader at Sashabaw Middle School. This is his second theatrical performance. He would like to thank his parents and sister, McKinley, for encouraging him to work hard and keep going. He hopes you enjoy the show!

  •  Annabelle is 12 years old and attends Pierce Middle School. This is her second time performing with Tread the Boards Theatre. She first fell in love with theater playing Gloomy Gus in Snow White. Fun fact: Annabelle has 11 siblings—3 brothers, 7 step-siblings, and 1 baby sister who ties them all together. She would like to thank Kaylee for introducing her to theater and this amazing company, as well as for being her best friend.

  •  Leela is 14 years old and has been performing with Mrs. Johns for 3 years. This is her second time with Tread the Boards. She has appeared in Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Miracle on 34th Street, and the Vocal Exposition. Leela has also been singing for 7 years and is excited to be part of this play!

  •  Emma is 14 and a freshman at Farmington High School. This is her 3rd production with Tread the Boards and her 5th overall. Past roles include Alice (Alice in Wonderland), Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), and the Wicked Witch (The Wizard of Oz). She would like to thank her mom for supporting her and Mrs. Johns, Kate Thomas, Donna Zahady-Tomassi, Reilly Kerrigan, Natalie Mammal, and Krisi Foster for making this show the best it could be.

  •  Elliot is ready to hit the stage in his second production at Tread the Boards Theatre! His previous local community theater appearances include The Prince of Egypt (Young Aaron), Snow White (Slow Poke), Aladdin Jr. (Abu), SpongeBob the Musical (Ensemble), and Shrek Jr. (Young Shrek). In his free time, Elliot enjoys playing video games, the piano, tennis, golf, and baseball.

  •  Lucas is 11 years old and in 6th grade. This is his first show on stage, though he has helped with concessions and backstage for several of Mrs. Johns’s productions. Lucas would like to thank his family for encouraging him to step out of his comfort zone and onto the stage!

  •  Cecilia is 8 years old and a 3rd grader at Oxbow Elementary School. This is her first play. She loves playing outside with her friends, drawing, and playing piano. Her favorite animal is the koala, and she loves to share that koalas are the size of a jelly bean when they are born. Cecilia would like to thank her Nonna for being her Nonna.

  • Jasmine is delighted to make her second stage appearance in Seussical Jr., joining the Whos of Whoville! A 4th-grader at Riverside Elementary, she loves to sing, dance, and tell stories on stage. Recent credit: a spirited turn in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Known for her big smile and even bigger energy, Jasmine is a true people person who cheers on her castmates and brings enthusiasm to every rehearsal. Offstage, she enjoys reading, cartwheeling, and making up songs with friends. She sends a huge thank-you to her family and friends for their constant support.

  •  Rosie is very excited to be in Seussical, Jr.  She is one of the Wickersham Brothers.  She is 11 years old and is in the 6th grade.  Rosie goes to HighPoint Hybrid Academy.  She has been in a few small skits before but is mostly new to theatre.  Rosie enjoys soccer, reading, and hanging out with friends.  Rosie would like to thank Ms. Laura for making it possible for her to be in the play.

  •  Anthony is 13 years old and a 7th grader at White Lake Middle School. He previously appeared in The Wizard of Oz. He loves history. Anthony would like to thank his parents and God for guiding his path into theater.

  •  Tristan is 14 years old and attends Lakeland High School. This is his 4th production with Mrs. Johns, and he also appeared in CVP’s Hairspray. Tristan has done gymnastics for 3 years and dance for 2. He would like to thank his friends and family for encouraging him in theater.

  • Roquel is a 7th Grader at White Lake Middle School and is so excited to play a Wickersham Brother. Previously, Roquel was in Wizard of Oz at WLMS. She is happy to participate in this show and that Leela encouraged her to do this.  She would also love to thank Leela, Emma, and Kinzlee because they inspire her and they’re like big sisters.

  •  Isabella is 13 years old and in 8th grade at White Lake Middle School. She is thrilled to be part of Seussical Jr. Isabella has performed in two prior shows with Mrs. Johns: The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. She would like to thank her mom, dad, teachers, Mrs. Johns, Mrs. Brinkman, and Mrs. Hewitt for encouraging her to pursue theater.

  • Finn is an 8th grader at Clarkston Junior High School.  She became interested in theatre because she loves art and singing.  She was encouraged to do this show by her friend Lincoln, and is very excited to be a part of this fun production.  She would like to thank her family for their support of her adventures.
